    City of God (2002)-9.5/10
I hadn't seen this before, but wow was this a great movie. Its about a young kid, Rocket, in the slums of Rio de Janerio, Brazil. He wants to be a photographer, and it shows how he gets there. Its based on a true story.

If you have not seen it, its a MUST SEE. And do not get it in English, make sure its in Portugese and has subtitles, it makes the movie flow better and overall more realistic.

I Love You Man - 8.10 - I liked it, good story and all. Worth the watch.

Funny People - 9/10 - I really liked this, more serious tone considering the cast. But really like it, go watch it.

The Hangover - Bought it, of course seen it in theaters, but it's hilarious. Buy it.

Bruno - 7.9/10 - Not an 8, but I thought it was pretty **** funny a lot. Other times it wasn't as funny, pretty gross scenes, but if you like that type of humor...you'll really like it.

The Strangers - 6.5/10 - This movie had a lot of potential, but didn't deliver. It played on suspense the whole movie, but really never lead to anything - lacking of bloodshed. Just bored me, but had a few "jumpy" moments.

Should be watching the "Orphan" tonight, rented a lot of movies this week and bought a few due to lack of cable. Paranormal Activity is supposed to come out next week(29th I believe) I think, will be waiting for that.

you liked I Love You Man? I hated it, thought it was complete garbage.

But The Hangover is excellent, 10/10. Awesome all the way thru.

Funny People I really liked as well, I agree with your synopsis. It was serious at times, yet still very funny. 8.5/10

I hated Bruno too, Borat was 100x better. Bruno was so forced, he tried too hard. The character wasnt that funny, neither was a lot of the jokes.

Sherlock Holmes - Excellant movie . I really liked Guy Ritchies take on an old classic . The fight scenes were filmed just like the ones in Snatch . Robert Downey played a down and dirty , as well as , hilariously sarcastic version of Holmes . Jude Law played Dr. Watson superbly as well . Do yourself a favor and see this one .
Life is a grindstone . Whether it grinds us down or polishes us up , depends on what we are made of .

Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 - It was a HUGE let down. They really dropped the bomb on this one. The 1st was so good and actually watchable. This one, well, it was just so stupid and dumbed down.
